Darts Farm picks flowers for charity
VOLUNTEERS at Darts Farm have been busy picking golden flowers to offer customers in return for a donation to be given to charity.
The visitor attraction has managed to grow a bumper crop of sunflowers this year which it has decided to pick and sell on to raise money for Hospiscare.
Michael Dart, of Darts Farm, said: "Our stunning golden field of sunflowers is beaming through our restaurant windows.
"They brighten our day and we would love to share these beautiful sunny flowers with our customers and also raise important funds for a great local charity."
Volunteers and customers will be picking the flowers for the next few weeks.
