Mark Bebbington, the critically-acclaimed pianist who specialises in English music, is coming to SeatonMusic to give us a taste of some of his best.
Mark has recorded widely, and his series of five Frank Bridge solo CDs have each earned him five stars in BBC Music Magazine, with the words: “Bebbington is providing us with the well-nigh definitive take on this quintessentially English repertoire”.
Just last month, the International Record Review said of his John Ireland discs, “If you can resist a welling-up of tears on encountering this music, then you are a better man than I…”
For a special treat, join SeatonMusic at Seaton Town Hall, on Thursday, March 14, at 7.30 pm, when Mark will be playing works by Ireland, Bridge and Briggs.
