Fiasco Events is kicking off the Christmas festivities with a night of live music from two of the coolest bands in the UK at Chard Guildhall.
Bite the Buffalo bring fuzz-riddled rock n roll - think the Black Keys via beer-soaked Zambian mining towns - from brothers Stos (guitar, vocals) and Miti (drums, vocals).
After supporting Robert Plant at the Royal Albert Hall and playing the BBC stage at Glastonbury, the pair have been holed up in Bath working on their new album before their US tour next year.
Sam Green and the Midnight Heist blend traditional folk themes with a bluesy slide guitar that grows from soulful introspection to a whisky-fuelled whirlwind of sound straight from the Mississippi Delta.
The gig takes place at Chard Guildhall from 8pm – midnight on Saturday, December 21. Tickets are £10 in advance or £15 on the door, available from The Choughs Hotel, The Guildhall, Chard and www.fiascoevents.co.uk
