Denley’s Essence of India Curry School, in Topsham, Exeter, is offering one lucky family the chance to enjoy a fun cook-a-long session with Jamil Miah, restaurant owner and chef, at its recently opened cookery school in Topsham.
Jamil told the Journal: “The kitchen is the heart of the home and cooking together as a family is really great fun. I have two small children and love watching the expressions on their faces as they squeeze together the contents of an onion bhaji and then devour it moments later.
“The competition prize will be a fun and interactive session where the whole family will be able to have a go at making authentic Indian dishes - and importantly, then eating the fruits of their labour!”
Jamil holds his curry school one-day courses on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at £99 per person, or two places for £175.
