SeatonMusic set to welcome top performers

SeatonMusic is delighted to present Jonathan Dormand (cello) and Marisa Gupta (piano) at its next concert.

Jonathan Dormand has performed as both solo artist and chamber musician throughout the UK and much of Europe, Canada, Japan and the USA at venues such as Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall and festival’s such as Prades Pablo Casals Festival, IMS Prussia Cove and Ravinia.

He studies at the New England Conservatory pursuing a Master of Music degree with Laurence Lesser and where he is the Charlotte F Rabb Presidential Scholar.

Pianist Marisa Gupta began her studies with John and Nancy Weems and Horacio Gutierrez.

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including top prizes at the International Concours Maria Canals in Barcelona and the Gian Battista Viotti International Piano Competition, a Solti Foundation Award, a Fulbright scholarship, and first prizes at the Corpus Christi Young Artists Competition (USA),

The concert is supported by The Countess of Munster Musical Trust and is at Seaton Town Hall on Thursday, February 20, at 7.30pm.

Individual tickets are £12.50, but for best value you can join for the whole year and enjoy all seven concerts for just £55.
