Uplifting music for concert in Colyton

Entitled Into The Light, a concert by renowned mezzo soprano Catherine King and piano accompanist Barry Ferguson is being held in St Andrew’s Church, Colyton on Saturday, January 11, at 7.30pm, in memory of Catherine’s father, Anthony Richard King.

The uplifting programme includes works by Elgar, Warlock, Purcell, and Vaughan Williams.

Tickets, to include refreshments, are £12 (£10 for member of The Friends of St Andrew’s, £5 for under-18s) and are available from Haynes, Market Square, Colyton, or by sending an SAE and a cheque made out to The Friends of St Andrew’s, to Kay White, Highfield, Hillhead, Colyton, EX24 6NJ, or can be bought on the door.

Proceeds will be shared between two charities, The Friends of St Andrew’s and Parkinson’s UK.
